Dear Sasha, I've been reading your blog for a while now, even went back and read every one of your old posts. I'm in love with your writing and would be humbled by the experience to get to blog for you once in a while. I already emailed you some writing samples.

I hope I have a chance and if not, I still think you rock,

Hey Sasha, I'm a strong butch with strong opinions and I think I might have a lot to say that could benefit some of your readers. I'm not a professional writer like you, I do have a BA in English Lit from CSULB so I'm not a total jackass off the street.

I'll email you some of my stories I wrote back in college and if you like it, hit me up. If not, no hard feelings beautiful. I'll always be a died in the wool follower of CCL.

Something about the web-wing saggy armpits of the second one really bugs me. I think it's more unique and stylish than the first, but I know if I were wearing it, that feature with wind up irking the shit out of me less than halfway through the night.

I agree with LesbianWife a lot, too. I also came out relatively late in life (24 as bi, then 28 as les after hooking up with my first and current special lady friend almost two whole years ago), and the experience has been similar.

With guys, I was always drawn to and attracted the "wrong" ones.I wasn't really good at pegging a male personality that could work in the long term in tandem with mine- and, well, that turned out to be irrelevant anyway as I would eventually lose almost all attraction to any of them at all.

On my first girl date, however, I was able to identify as a total dud by the end of the night, despite spending YEARS chasing this chick and longing for her (or so I thought). Since then, my girl has been the only one that hasn't sent up some sort of major red flag of some sort or another telling me to "run away!"

Unfortunately, it's not that easy or simple starting out. Had I gotten with that chick I chased in the early days when we first met and fell for each other, she would have handed me ass on a sandwich between two pieces of my broken heart with a bit already taken out of it.

I know that I, for one, would absolutely go to an exclusively gay and lesbian dance studio. I've taken Tango and Swing lessons before and there is nothing grosser or more horrifying then the moment that the hairy, sweaty, mouth-breathing, creepy guy (who never comes with a partner) makes his way over to you when you inevitably have to switch partners.

Also, my partner said she got bitchy looks and reluctant sighs when she had to switch partners...sucks.

wear what you want, it is classy and stylish, and if you feel fantastic in it, you'll look sexier than you ever could in the other dress. confidence=hot.

im a bit biased since i dont like obvious dresses unless it's one on one, a date or something...not a formal party.

Like Liz there, I'm a PC person; Macs piss me off!
And you know, bonus points to you if you subtitle it (for those of us not so gifted in the hearing department.)
Just to add to the pressure ;)
And we all know it'll be totally awesome anyway, so meh. :)

Hi I am Celine, geoffcm is the name of my baby brother who died age 2 weeks in case you think I was a pervert guy. I agree with a lot of posts here, I live in Ireland , more girls are coming out here now but it still isnt easy. Like its all about mood isnt it? sometimes you really really want it and sometimes you cant face it. I was really lucky in boarding school but now you have to navigate. Some girls here just lead you on then expose you. Had that and dont ever want it again. I like what i saw here and will visit again. Thanks for listening, if anybody did

I really think the first dress would look good for a party. its sexy because of the halter but you really are not showing all that much. The other one says "date dress" where you are trying to be sexy but not show off too much. but its a party so you might as well go all out.

A bit of advice for lovergirl - if you are a lesbian, I think the whole "is the girl good for me?" comes kind of naturally. Or maybe I just got lucky.

I came out relatively "late" in life (32) and though I was sexually attracted to women, I could come home from a date and easily identify whether I was interested in a relationship (mostly not). This was in huge contrast to dating men, when I was more "oh I guess he'll do". I had no way of identifying good males from bad males, but it seemed to happen naturally with women. And when I met my partner/wife, it all hit me. I wanted to be with this woman... dating casually at first, but soon enough I was in love. It just came naturally. I wasn't looking for a lifetime relationship, it just works out in my opinion, when you're dating the right gender.

I say go with the first dress because it'll be sure to make heads turn. :-)

Be aware that fashion at the white party ranges from a white v-neck shirt & jeans to cocktail dresses like your own.
As long as you're in all white you're good to go.

I had a friend wear all red once to stand out ... she looked like the only girl that hadn't gotten the memo about wearing white LOL LOL

I have to say, I like Remi's pick. I don't think it's hooching it up if you have the curves to pull it off...I think it's cool, and every chick loves to see her girl dressed up.

Secondly, you cracked me up. I didn't think those chicks were you...for a few reasons - the most outstanding was because I think that they are of two different races.

Either way, I vote for Remi's choice. While I do think the second one is classy...the first one looks more party, and the one I'd choose for my chick too.
