The Ultimate Lesbian blog.

Is it just me or is everyone gay?

I used to lament about the lack of lesbians, or more accurately, my lack of gaydar which made it seem as if there were only six lesbians in the South Bay and I already knew them. But lately everywhere I go I’m noticing more and more gay girls.

It could be that it’s so trendy to be bi or gay, that a lot more women are just embracing the freedom to flirt with one another. Not to say that most of them would ever follow through but a little harmless flirting with a MILF at the gym never hurt anyone’s ego.

But I recently found myself at the Sheriff’s department (no fault of my own, I was simply defending myself) and before I left a lovely lady Sheriff slipped me her card with her cell phone, home phone and email on the back. Ummmmm ….. I may be wrong but she was setting off my gaydar so loudly I thought I’d go deaf!

Then earlier today I was in 7-11 and my favorite dykey clerk gave me a free lottery ticket and winked at me!!! WTF??? Seriously. Maybe it’s the heat, it brings all the lesbians out from under wherever we’ve been hiding, to show off our plaid cargo shorts and wife beaters.

It occurs to me as I’m writing this that maybe it’s not that everyone’s gay all of a sudden. But maybe I’m finally putting off the come-hither-I’m a lesbian-vibe … God I hope so. :)
Either way it seems that this summer is off to a fabulous start!

Pssst … I see gay girls. ;)

Wow, that’s hillarious! I’ve never had an experience quite like that. Sometimes I *think* I’m seeing gay girls everywhere, but alas, they’re straight. I even had a dream the other night about meeting a cute little butch girl, friend-of-a-friend, and in the dream she randomly goes “I’m not gay.” Me: “you’re NOT GAY?” Girl: “Nope. Not gay.” Ha.

By the way, I meant to say before that you misunderstood me – *I* haven’t been to Romania, I just really want to go. It’s my friend who went on the Romania/Bulgaria/Hungary trip. I have this amazing plan one day to start in Turkey and wander through Eastern Europe, making my way to St. Petersburg, but that won’t happen until I have far more time and money!

I live in the south bay too and have tried for years to meet local lesbians…..it’s been a long and not-so-successful campaign. then again…..i’m femme, nerdy, hardly ever go to bars, frequent the library at least once a week, and am attracted to the same….so i think that’s part of the problem too. i’m looking for lesbians who i cannot tell are lesbian, and i’m one of those lesbians :) .
hey, if you know anyone like me and looking for someone like me get in touch :) !!

There are a ton of gay chicks. A lot of them, just happen to look like me…sneaking in under the radar.

Then again, I have horrible gaydar…so I just assume they’re into it. After being with chicks, who wouldn’t be?

what’s a lesbian? do they have them in Los Angeles? I keep hearing about this “lesbian” everywhere… I am interested in the details, and maybe becoming one myself, or giving a “lesbian” as a gift?!

Oh my god, this is hilarious. How did I miss this post in the past? Man I know the feeling of everyone thinking you’re straight, so I find when a woman starts hitting on me I get all confused because I’m just so not used to people realizing I’m gay (although usually I get the drunk, flirty femmes trying to get me to have a threesome with their men. Hmmm no thanks!).

LOL This is very funny- I finally have a chance to write. I was going to say it would be nice if lesbians had invisible tatoos lol that only we could see on eachother lol that would help out a lot. lol Or even better if we had some magic lesbian dust lol that we could sprinkle on someone we wish was gay lol like the VERY, VERY sexy substitute dance instructor at my dance studio this week OMG!!! After class she told me I had beautiful eyes and inside I was like OMG – I would have totally covered her with that magic dust if I had some. LOL :) LOL Then there is my secretary at work who also told me (today) that I have beautiful eyes- now in THAT case I would have totally locked up the magic dust LOL – gross- hell no! LOL LOL

@ Sasha this is off topic (well could somewhat be related??) but I think might be an interesting concept for a future blog- Why is it that (it REALLY seems like this) hetero society thinks gay men are so “cute”, “exciting”, “great to shop with”, “fun”, finger-snapping/head rolling fabulous, but hetero society (at least in my corner of the planet LOL) does not refer to lesbians in this way-with this same enthusiasm? Media presentation? Media exposure? The judge on America’s next top model, the brothers on Brothers And Sisters tv show, all the interior decorating shows etc on and on….. Having a gay brother I always hear comments like “I bet he is an amazing shopper etc” Now granted I am blessed :) to be a femme with a gay brother who loves to shop and his partner who loves to shop even more. LOL However, trust me it is not all fun and games it can be bitch central too LOL LOL NOT ever – NEVER with my brother- he IS sincerely perfect :) now his partner well…… LOL Anyhow, I am just wondering why society appears to be SOOOOO in love with and SOOOOOO fasinated (sp??) by gay men yet they (hetero society) do not appear to have the same excitement towards/for lesbians. Except perverts LOL like “Johhny” with his previous “male m….” (gag!!!!!!) comment in reference to lesbians. LOL Just wondering………

@ Jazmenha LOL! So, the ole secretary doesn’t do it for yah, huh? :) By the way…what color are your eyes?

@ Femmelover- They are green unless I wear blue then they change colors and are turquose (sp? lol) blue.

Well, first of all what does (sp) mean? If it means surely pleased, then yes…for sure! :) If it means surprised…well, yes I am pleasantly surprised. Furthermore, your substitute dance instructor’s observation made my butch curiosity meter peak to high levels. And, I just had to ask.
Wow! Your eyes intrigue me with their change in color via what you wear! Seems like a beautifully inherited trait, lady.

@ Femmelover- Thanks. We use “sp?” to mean “sound pretty?” so yeah you got the general meaning of it :) actually I like “surely pleased” better will have to switch the meaning. :) Thanks, its weird when I wear a purple shirt- which I never do lol- they actually get a violet colored ring. Weird camillion (not sure spelling?) eyes I have. When I am sick they are grey, happy or wear blue= bright blue otherwise they are green etc.

@ Jazmenha Fascinating! You are (truly) one of a kind in many ways. Beauty, brains and a heart to match. Doesn’t get any better! Well, in your case it probably could – and I wouldn’t be surprised at all.
Hope this day is turning out better for you. Your message last night was a tough one to read because there was nothing I could really do to help comfort you…which was frustrating all in itself. But, more importantly, I was worried about you emotionally. You are probably really tired, since you couldn’t sleep last night. Please promise me you will try to get some rest today.
