OK so I think it’s safe to say that the storm clouds of bad luck have lifted from my life and I seem to be a new roll … a good one!

I got a brand new MINI Cooper!!!!
Yep, that’s right. I officially have the most amazing, perfect, generous, wonderful girlfriend in the entire world! Remi and I bought our new baby, that we have named Belmont at Long Beach Mini this last Wednesday.
It’s a 2010 Mini Cooper S Clubman and I am truly in love with my new car! But even more in love with Remi then ever. Not just because she bought us a new car, but because it was a really big step to buy something this big! Which says a lot about how she feels about our future together. Basically, this just renewed and confirmed our commitment to each other. Nothing says you’re serious about someone like buying them a new car.
Wow, I’m impressed. I didn’t think she had it in her. Guess Remi’s more competition then I gave her credit for.
OMG, I’m so jealous!!!!!! Congratulations on the nomination, the mini and on having such a amazing gf!!!!! Why are all the good ones always taken? Have you ever posted a pic of Remi? I’m dying to see what she looks like.
Naaaaaaaaa——-ice! MINI’s are freakin’ awesome. They’re little suped up sports cars! I’ve been dying to get one but can’t afford it on a teachers pay. Guess I need to find myself a suger daddy like you …. does Remi have any friends just like her but singel?

Mini Coopers are so cool! Ever since I saw the Italian Job I’ve had a hard on for them (well, not literally) but I think they’re hot cars and I love the new clubman. Is that really your car you posted a pic of? I love the color. Nice choice sasha and remi! Congratulations!

To Tina: this is actually “our car” as a couple who already shares a house and our lives together in a committed relationship. Having said that though, she does still have her other car that she takes to work with her every day and leaves the MINI at home with me so use. So …. as you can see … she really does take very good care of me.

Sans GF … no I have never posted a pic of Remi. I want to, but she works for homeland security and is still “officially” in the Marine Corps and I don’t want to take a chance that showing her on my very gay blog could ever come back to hurt her career. But trust me, she’s a cutie pie and all around amazing person.
Hey Sasha, I just started reading your blog and I really love it. You crack me up most of the time and the other times I just worry about you. I’m glad you’re feeling better and happy for you that you got the car of your dreams. Remi sounds like the perfect partner for you. It’s good that a femme like yourself is so outspoken about how much she loves her butch or tomboi gf. Too many femmes here in LA player hate on us because we don’t fit the “LA LOOK” of what a woman should look like. Thank you sasha for being up front about loving us butches. I fuckin’ love mini coopers!!!! I’ve been driving MINI’s since 2002 and I’m on my 3rd one. I just keep trading them in for newer ones because they’re awesome little cars!!! You have the Clubman? I have the regular S cooper but thinking about upgrading to the Clubman next time.

Which we love because it’s a smart choice and a lot of fun. My hubby has hers all suped up with the JCW extras. I just have the regular one but I have over 180,000 Miles on my baby and think it’s time to get a newer version…. I’m so gonna tell her tongight over dinner that Remi bought Sasha a brandnew Clubman … hint hint…. she hates to be shown up by other butches!

I’m a straight girl and I read your blog all the time. I find it interesting that your life is very similar or your roles I should say to that of a well pampered trophy wife who has a husband with a good job. I only wish straight men were as chivilarous as it seems lesbians are to one another.
