This was funny. I use MySpace and Facebook exactly the way you do. MySpace is who I really am - it's just for me. Facebook is used to communicate with old friends, relatives, and work people - obligatory relationships that I want to keep away from the real me.

For the record I prefer MySpace to Facebook. Maybe it's because Facebook friends keep sending me stupid quizzes, games, etc, in which I have no desire to participate.

Thank you, thank you for crawling into my thoughts and putting them on (blog)paper since I have no time to do so... I appreciate the one brain we share when it comes to many things; Facebook vs Myspace being one.
Have you noticed all the marketing that has gone to Facebook? The links in the corners of commercials steering you to the product page on Facebook? Remember the California petition I emailed you to get marriage equality back on the ballot for 2010? The fine print below it's request for donations read: "We pledge to put all of the proceeds from this fundraising drive toward one thing: Facebook advertising. By 2010, we believe that nearly everyone who votes in California will be registered on Facebook. Because of the sophisticated targeting capabilities of Facebook, we can reach out to both supporters and undecided voters more effectively than ever."
Pardon? No I will not be donating, and how idiotic to pigeon hole advertising for such a broad subject as gay marriage equality. I am gay and 29 and a large demographic affected by this petition and I do NOT have a Facebook page nor do I plan to. RETARDS.
