I wrote “Respect” in hopes to return a human aspect to the technology world.
“Respect”

“Exposed
Bare lines smoothly flow
from head to toe
outlined illumination
of a hidden soul
Exposed
for all to see
no longer hidden behind drapery
and no longer the
illusuion of being hidden behind glass
Exposed flesh
Or
Spoken words in print
words of stories to unfold
read by eyes never exposed.
Through prose or pose
both in the same.
Exposed
behind the glass
in written words of
stories past
Or
Exposed naked flesh
of a covered soul.
Both share
illumination of a hidden soul
Beautiful images
Stop
And
Respect
These are not just random
images
frozen in photographic time
But
Real people
with real stories
Respect
These are people for who someone else who give their last breath.
They are
sisters
daughters
friends
partners
Above all humans
Stop
and
Respect
Those words you read
through the computer screen
Those words are not just unknown
print of false thoughts
or fantasy realities
But
Real stories
Real people’s trials, tribulations, successes
Respect”

Young Butch (aka ” Eyeballs” lol) Off topic of this poem – Please check out my poem next week because it reminds me of the extreme self-pain (from the lack of acceptance from your family and your outward resentment towards their lack of acceptance of being lesbian) and the devastating effect on yourself that you wrote about in your original letter to CCL for help. Not sure what space you are in now, but I think you will really be able to relate to it. I remember you were cutting and suicidal when you first wrote CCL. So I sincerely hope your doing much better. For the days in the future when life gets that bad again (for you or for anyone) I hope that poem will give you (and everyone) hope and help. Please keep an eye out for that poem next week.

FL yes of course we are all someone (special). I was ref to when YB first wrote CCL asking for help- that’s my CCL buddy “Eyeball” right there lol like Snooky and D call themselves the “Meatballs” on Jersey Shores but instead the “Eyeballs” .LOL And FL
that “sounded” like you were screaming at me or sarcastic since you put my name all in caps with “right JAZZ?” my name in all caps- I wasn’t sure how to read that
