Lesbian Speed Dating: Update

OK, so just so you all know, in case anyone ELSE wants to do this, here’s the website: http://www.q2dspeeddating.com/

Apparently there’s a lesbian speed dating event at the end of the month at the Abbey!!! So of course, I wanted to go, but it’s already full. Phooey.

But there is one in Long Beach this Friday. I would go but Remi’s working so it would just be me, by myself and somehow that defeats the purpose and just looks REALLY bad. But I wanted to get the word out in case any of you single ladies didn’t have anything planned this weekend. Go! And then tell us all about it. :)

    Old post, but topic flashback for me. I remember reading a post you did (Elgey :) your new detective assignment please lol) about you going with Remi an Lana on a straight people speed dating to support Lana. Totally relate – months back I went with Crush to support her on a straight speed dating. Yeah that was very awkward on many levels for me. Anyhow she met her boyfriend that night. Anyhow l think its neat that they have speed dating for us too. Though I wonder how seriously people (gay or straight) take this. For example, when I went with her (to show support) I used it only to brush up on interviewing skills. LOL But if there had been butches/lesbians there instead of men then it would be totally different for me. :)
