Sorry!

I’m sorry CCL readers, I haven’t posted in a few days and I know you’re waiting! Effi has a funny blog waiting for me to get up, Kenda’s official intro is also ready to go and Elegy has another thought provoking blog for you all. But I am a mess. I don’t have time right now to post anything but a quick note (this is it) to tell you I will try to get everything posted this weekend!! Its also been a while since I’ve  written anything for you and I miss writing. I feel like I need to get back in touch with that and Kenda’s latest fiction pieces have started my wheels turning. Please  be patient with me. I’m having a …… Well …. Let’s just say I need a mental health day. Or two.

But in the mean time, enjoy the pic of the day. Check back this weekend for a lot of new content! :) I pinky swear!! (but check in the afternoon because you know I’m not a morning person.)

<3 Writing misses you, too! Seriously, I meant to say to you how amazing you are: it's one thing to have all these ideas in your head and it's an entirely different ball game to get them down on paper (or in a document on the computer/iPad)- and to be amazing at it! You've got this, don't put too much pressure on yourself (easier said than done, right?); But take advantage of your vacay, burn some incense, take a hot bubble bath with fancy oils, or something). The blog and all of us will still be here- promise. ;)

    lol..
It’s ok Sasha, no one actually LIKES mornings… we all just put up with them because we’re forced to by work or children or craziness.
And we still love ya. Take a couple of mental health days, we’ll be waiting for you when you feel better :)

Take good care of yourself. I am rooting for you.

Looking forward to the goodies when you return! Hope you’re relaxing and decompressing. You’ve really been demanding a lot from yourself lately, and I’m glad you’re remembering to include downtime. It’s just as important as training when you’re on a self-improvement mission. We’ll be here when you come back and will be glad to see you all happy, refreshed and glowing.

ps – I briefly wondered if there was a naughty version of the game “Sorry” you discovered, but then thought, naaah…you can’t top “Truth or Dare”.

Ha ha, Rexie, there are a few games that could use a naughty update…Sorry, followed by Trouble, followed by Dungeon!, followed by Payday. A few more games that beg for revision: Enemy Agent, Whodunit (blindfolds included), Swords & Shields (use your imagination), Close Encounters of the Third Kind (not sure what the third kind would be, but might be fun finding out), Battling Tops (this one I’d like to see), Bermuda Triangle (a game for three or more), The Inventors (no pieces included – use of household items encouraged), Radar Search, Bionic Crisis, Divine Right, Super Spy, Rock the Boat (or trailer or whatever), Pursuit, Aggravation (a waiting game) and Up Periscope.

Sasha – No worries, you go take care of yourself; we’ll be here when you get back.

Ha! Kenda! Leave it to you to top my cleverness. Anybody up for a game of naughty Monopoly? Go to Jail, Lose a Turn, and Waterworks could be interesting components.

And just imagine the naughty updates on Monopoly’s game pieces!

Heather, i’ve actually met people who *like* mornings. And yes, i poked them to make sure they were real. They seemed real enough but i’m still convinced they’re aliens in human skin and no one can tell me differently dammit!

Sash – screw 7am. Just one goal at a time. And the exercising one is more important than the waking up one. When you’re in a good workout rhythm the waking up will start happening naturally.
