The Only LGBT Fashion Show

It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to post on here. Sorry about that! But it just seemed like one thing after another kept coming up. Most of them good. Like the jewelry line is going great. In fact, I was invited to showcase my jewelry at the LGBTwed fashion show. Which also happens to be the only  LGBT fashion show on the West coast! Which that alone, makes it a huge honor that I’m showing my work there. Yay me!

Yep, CCL is stepping out from behind the curtain and I’m finally doing my first show. Which is totally against my natural instinct as an introverted recluse. I mean, I specifically designed my career so that I didn’t have to see people, so doing a show is crazy for me. But if you’re near the LA area March 23rd you better come by and say hi!  Just look for me and Remi standing by a bunch of shiny pieces of steel. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t more then a little nervous, this is the first show I’m doing for my own jewelry and it’s super exciting and nerve racking. So seriously, if you come by and you see me and you think, she doesn’t look so approachable, push past that and remember what I am about to confess to you: I tend to get CBF (chronic bitch face) when I’m stressed or nervous or in pain. I don’t mean it!! I’m nice I swear!!! But doing a showcase is so far out of my comfort zone, I’m pretty sure there will be a few moments where I accidentally slip into CBF and if that happens the moment you see me, please come by and help by saying hi. 🙂

I will be spending the next 11 days making jewelry and getting ready. And by getting ready I mean, trying not to freak out. Be sure to tell any engaged ladies and gents you know about this very special event. I mean seriously people, it’s a GAY WEDDING FASHION SHOW!!!! Gay people have run the wedding industry for years! It’s about time we get to celebrate too!!!

Oh and if you come out you’ll get to meet my amazing friend, Constantine of the Persephone Papers who is going to have one of his haute couture wedding gowns made entirely out of paper there on a live model! And I happen to have inside information that it’s going to be amazing.
