Is that a snake in your pants? Or are you just happy to see me?

I ran across this photo and was intrigued. I mean, if a picture is worth a thousand words then this one is worth a thousand comments. What is she trying to say? A commentary on the duality of lesbianism? A statement on the inherent dichotomies of being butch ? A big middle finger to a patriarchal society and it’s advertising propaganda?

I have no idea! But that’s what I love about art. Everyone will see something different in it. I think what you see in this photo will say more about you, then the picture itself.

I think this picture is absolutely amazing and truly depicts what many women think about society today. My personal depiction is that she is giving a big FU to society who welcomes men into “manhood”. Women can be just as strong and just as meaningful to society and I believe that this picture is stating just that. I LOVE IT!!!!!

Im all for gay propganda and “gay art.’ But thats a gross picture. Maybe it makes me small minded but being a butch myself…yuck!

Sadie Lune rocks my world. Plus you can see she is carrying on with the age old tradition of oneboobout, a lesbian nuance of ancient times.

Interesting artistic statement. Not my type of pic but art is subjective.
